If I were the chairman I'd find it very difficult to offer a new contract to the manager of a team that have lost 7 out of the last 8 games.

They share responsibility, and must take responsibility

    1) They are not learning from their mistakes. We don't take our chances and we don't know how to kill a game when we take the lead. That is Ritchie's fault.

    2) There isn't enough strength or experience in the side and we're not attracting players. That is Shepherds fault.

What are they going to do about it?

Missing chances isn't ritchies fault...it's the strikers fault end of. The players are talented, but they just can't seem to do the simple things when it counts, maybe motivation could be looked at, but Ritchie can't do anything about Richards missing a sitter yet again

    Share the same thoughts

I also find it worrying that our formation is so predictable,we struggle to bring in new blood when nearly every other outfit seems to do it at will, and that its the same mistakes week after fecking week, can't take chances that other seems bury against us so we do'nt capitalise when we are on top and then same old defensive lapses, all joking aside....whast do we do in training

    Rubbish

When we've had bad runs before...

... under Steve Parkin... I wanted him out
... under Nigel Spackman... I wanted him out
... under Paul Hart... I wanted him out

I defiantely DO NOT want Ritchie to leave. We're playing good stuff, I'm not sure a new manager could carry that on as well. If Ritchie is still identifying targets, the ball is in Shepherds court.

Ritchie picks the team and he had an alternative, besides...

the point I was trying to make was that Ritchie is not doing anything on the training pitch to make a noticable difference to our ability to defend a lead or maintain our focus in the last twenty minutes.

You're right, Ritchie isn't at fault for the actions of someone else, but everyone else with a vested interested in the team seemed to understand the importance of getting Nardiello involved from the start.

    I'm losing patience now.

    NO NO NO

with no money behind the manager, NO manager currently available could turn us around. There simply isn't the quality at the club to turn it around. Simply put, new players is the priority over a new manager.

Get that defensive coach back, or get another defensive coach in.
He only worked with us a couple of times, and we looked much improved.
He goes back, and we fall apart in no time.
