the first home match ive missed in donkeys years, but around 12 o clock i got a phone call from my daughter who had been involved in a road accident, fortunately no body suffered more than a couple of cuts and bruises. I couldnt go to the match with the uncertainty of this hanging over me, i had regular txt messages during the match from my son, he tells me we fully deserved to win.
thanx shes ok but summats not right cos the young lad in the other car pulled out of a side street in front of her, he was just outside his house and his parents asked lauren to say that his mother was driving not him., well they can go and **** themselves if they expect us to lie to save their insurance going sky high. it is is border line wether her car is a write off. she was travelling along a main road whend he pulled out of a side street in front of her, so im certain the fault lies with him.
RE: thanx shes ok should have called the bobbys when they said that, she's ok though mate thats the main thing
RE: thanx shes ok it happened outside ecclesfield police station and apparantly the police said if you can sort it out yourselfs we dont need to get involved. if id have been there id have got em involved but lauren was alone she is only 20 she as only been driving just over a year and i suppose she was in shock at the time, thankfullly she got all their details and i am going to sort it with the lads dad and our insurance tomorrow. all this is new to me because although ive been driving since 1971 i have never had to make a claim
The main thing..... Is that your daughter is fine and in good health. At least you can now have a double celebration -the health of your daughter, and also the certain little matter of 3 points at the 'well without your appearance. For what it's worth, my daughter would win hads-down every time. And on a lighter note.... i once attended my cousin's wedding, after which he took off to Oakwell to watch the game, leaving all of us who attended begrudginlgy... begrudging even more. I think he got divorced after 6 months too? Mind you, she was from Sheffield.
RE: thanx shes ok Good luck, had a few that was'nt my fault main thing is to get every thing down on paper notes scetches etc so it stays fresh in a couple of months admit nothing and stand your ground.
