    Good look trying to remove Norton, it is one hard peice of software to remove. Even after uninstalling and removing it keeps files on your registery that conflicts with most other AV packages!

    AVG antivirus - Superantispyware and for firewall

    I just rely on the one built in to my router - or if roaming use the built in Windows one
    In the past I have used the kerio firewall which works well and is easy to use... and free
