Does anyone 'in the know' have any recommendations for something decent, it needs to heat 10 radiators, and be good for some HOT rather than tepid water out of the taps. I'm not a millionaire, so value for money is a must. Cheers.

    EIther buy one decent boiler

Or buy three that can't heat up any water.

    Satirical, eh readers?

Ours is a Valliant, was there when we moved in, had no problems at all with it and I understand they're genuinely a good product. No idea on price though, but would recommend on reliability:

Baxi 18kw is a great boiler, heats 11 rads for me. Approx £650 to buy, then there's fitting of course plus any flu kits etc.

Thanks all, had some good leads

Been quoted over the phone £1,300 installation for one of these: http://www.tradeplumbing.co.uk/30-HE-Baxi-Potterton-Main-Combination-High-Efficiency-Condensing-Boiler-HE-30HE_p_0-2698.html

Either the web price is way out, or the bloke is pulling my leg (I reckon).

Couldn't he just borrow a boiler for the summer?
