Liking the vibes coming from Oakwell at this moment in time. Do I purchase one of these season ticket passes, bearing in mind Offspring will want the same therefore doubling my costs cause he is as tight as a Greyhounds Knick Knacks, or will it be a false dawn with L J being Guillotined before the end of the Campaign. I ask my fellow members for their valued opinions?
The team's form/performances has never resulted in my decision to attend a game. Each to their own though.
i bought at the end of last season, not because of the up turn in results (although it did influence it) but because of an upturn of my finances. If you can afford it, do it. Just do it.
25 He is on a tight budget since getting hitched. His partner Rupert is on a fair whack though! Joke Sam Joke
Fair. I didn't mean to pry. Looks like you'll be buying 2 then. Don't miss out, gonna be a good season.
Doc, go on I dare ya. Not that it will impress you much but you will go up another notch in my estimations. Go for it, put your money where your mouth is, take he plunge, suffer like us lol
Sods law dictates that if you buy one we'll lose all games 3-0, change the manager and get relegated. Alternatively if you don't we'll win every game 3-0 with some wonderful passing football. In short. Stay away!
As one of the more Senior Posters on here Mario I will bow to your advice and take the plunge. My sincere thanks to everyone's advice
Well I reckon that we could actually get some momentum going over the next few games and will have our most successful and enjoyable season for some time, so yes, get one bought, get down to Oakwell and get behind the team. We actually have a team of players we can identify with, which is rare in the days where football has turned into a horrible business, so lets make the most of it.
Glad to be of assistance Dr Z, just don't come looking for me when our season fizzles out into mid table obscurity.
We are building a decent team , lj has a lot of good ideas and is wanting to get the fans behind him and the team , so buy one if you can afford it IMO
We're 3/1 on Bet365 to win tomorrow. Stick the season ticket money on it, then if we win you have enough to buy both and keep yourself in pre-game ale for the year. If we lose you'll be too pissed off at them to want to go see them until next year.
i buy 2 STs every year. it's money i just write off now, tbh. my outlook on match day has changed a lot. once upon a time it consumed everything. now it doesn't, which kinda makes it easier to just buy em and not really worry about it. it's just summat i know i'll need to fork out for every year.. go for it, but don't let it stress you out..
