I need to compress some AVI files from Cardiff for youtube

    Does anyone know of a way, either by converting them to another format or just compressing, is their a website that can do this, or a programme? Help appreciated.

    No these are over 100mb but only last a couple of minutes. Youtube wont upload anything over 100mb.

    Open one of your AVI files and do a File Properties from the File menu
    Take a screenshot (Alt+PrtScr copies active window to clipboard, pate into Paint and save as a JPEG), post it here and I'll advise further.

    If you get any warning inviting you to rewrite the header when you open the file DON'T do it.

    Way too complex dude.</p>

    I'll find a way there must be something called 'avi to mov' or summat like that, i'll have a poke around emule when i get home.</p>
