Rick Holden reckoned this was a fixture that we could have done without.

I know it's a long shot, but if the MK Dongs draw a big club at home, what are the odds that we hear a collective "D'oh!" from out management team on the other side of the Pennines.

Equally, if we can "do without these fixtures", why don't we simply refuse to enter the competition, thereby saving everyone a lot of heartache?

What do I know? I'm only a fan & there to be taken for a ride.

They have a poor attitude to the Carling Cup and it was there for all to see last night

Wish I'd known that before I'd bought a ticket.

I wish they'd put that on the official ***** before the match

Breaking news: We could do without this match, will be playing the reserves, won't show any commitment or passion and will not make use of the substitutes that we have on the bench.

Would have saved a lot of people from wasting their time and money
