When they brought the meal it was a piece of processed chicken and a whole green pepper. I told the stewardess I'd already let them know that I don't eat meat and she politely took it away to return two minutes later having replaced the chicken with a red pepper.

Does anyone else have any amusing red/green pepper stories to share?

I'm saving mine for the pub later on. I don't like to use up all my anecdotes prematurely.

    It's a good'un though.

In the veg section of my refrigerator at the moment are a red, yellow and green pepper in a line. None of the other items in the fridge are moving, are they waiting for the peppers to turn?

It wasn't one of those furry red peppers with legs was it?

    yes

it resembled a dog, but I'm sure it was actually a red pepper

We flew to Bulgaria and got dry bread and stale cheese and

the plane seemed to have wallpaper!

Couldn't wait to get to the hotel for a proper meal, evening meal turned out to be dry bread and stale cheese! Went for brekkie next morning... dry bread and stale cheese. Was a bit of a theme throughout the week!???!

Did they serve you that bowl of oil that seemed to be for the bread to be dipped in ? Went ski-ing for a week and they seemed to dish that up for breakfast dinner and tea.
