Tips and hints on how to drive in snow/ice/cold weather. One bit that caught my attention was when starting the car to dip or depress the clutch. I do this automatically, not only to save wear and tear but if the car is in gear(even though it shouldn't) it's always better to be safe than sorry.

Am I the only one that does this?

You have to to start my car anyway.

Got a Volvo and it's CRAP in the the snow, believe it or not.

My boss asked me to move his Audi from car park because it was causing an obstruction. Took me 5 minutes just to find where the key goes, pressed the clutch and the brake, couldn't seem to get it started. You actually have to put your seat belt on before you can start the engine!
