Who here seriously thought we would get anything more? QPR - richest club in the world Coverntry - one of the best striker forces in the divison - eastwood, morrison, misfud, gray although i think a draw wouldn't have been too much to ask. Birmingham - relegated club with a lot of cash and a good manager! as well as phillips and Mcfadden! Derby - another relegated club. good manager again. again, a draw might be on the cards i would call that a tough first month. if we loose against blackpool, that is when i will start to worry!!
QPR - "richest club in the world" - what relevance does this have to anything - they've barely spent and are, by all accounts w*nk. If we played the Microsoft Board of Directors with Bill Gates in goal, are we supposed to get turned over. Davey has f*cked up this summer. Bobby Hassell starts the season in Midfield. Its incredible.
Sheff U beat QPR 3-0 Richest club or not. That is just a defeatist ***** attitude, as though we do not have the right to play against these sides. Did we not beat Birmingham at home as they were promoted to the Premier?
not going to be down at bottom fighting for relegation though are they. still got the kid from real madrid. id rather be in there shoes than ours
QPR millions means nothing, even the QPR fans are saying they are playing very poor! They can have a kid from Madrid, Milan or Barcelona.............. He'll soon get fed up of getting kicked to death in this league.
neither should we be. Player for player, we are more than capable of beating QPR. Had we had a Championship quality central midfielder then who knows? I imagine we would have had a much better chance. The fact that we didn't lays squarely at Davey's feet. His use of the transfer market this summer has been appalling.
i really hope we get something at derby it will be very inbarasing if we be the team that gives paul jewel his first win
Rather than calling QPR the richest club in the world when trying to butter up our defeat there, I think you'd have got more sympathy if you have simply said "Bogey team that we never get owt from".
Agree with yer there, at best i hoped for 4, but feared just 1 or less.Nowt to be worried about Wish our fellow fans would realise its a marathon not a sprint, 44 games to go, its madness to be writing us off already total madness. I just wish people were a bit more chilled out and realistic, i've been facinated by The Championship in recent years, the fact that anyone can beat anyone on any given Saturday,Sunday,Tuesday etc etc, that you can look nailed on for relegation and suddenly push for the play-offs, and look nailed on for promotion then finish 12th!!!! If we were Liverpool and had just lost two matches and Chelsea and Man Utd had won both theirs then i would be worried. But this leage gives you so much time to get it right i will only be concerned by our league position early next year(assuming performances don't go dreadful from here on in lol) If the lads keep trying and playing the way we tore into Cov Saturday then we have nothing to fear.By the time Muller is back between sticks saving everything that comes his way, De Silva is running the show on a constent basis and Jamal is turning defenders inside out we will have long forgotten about the week when a hell of a lot of tykes had written us off after narrowly losing the first two games of the season. I enjoyed Saturday, can't wait for Derby game and hopefully a few away trips from my North Eastily position YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO REDSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
