That's the only logical explanation for your support for Keith. As long as he has a say in the matter we will be ****.
Shame it isn't proportional to the number of fans through the gates. I tend to avoid the board straight after we lose because it makes awful reading. But I'll read it all night after we win. I guess everyone else just loves a good moan.
Gives everyone something to debate about though. Spent last hour on here, longest I've been on for ages. Not that much ranting either, generally decent debate, albeit on how **** we are but can't win em all
There's no argument about our current league position, points per game, falling attendances, ridiculous tactics............is there?
It makes me laugh when someone posts a message about how we can not and will not avoid relegation, then loads of people click 'I like this post'. I thought we were fighters in Barnsley, not pansies who lie down and die at the first sniff of a scrap? I'm looking forward to the second half of the season, it's going to be a defining time in our recent history and could make or break the club in the immediate future. For a club like us it is like us it's like a promotion battle because the rest of football already has us down. I'm not missing that, let's prove those b@stards wrong and show them what a battle is all about. I don't give a toss who's in charge or who's playing, I'm going to get to as many games as I can and get behind the lads for 90 minutes. If we stay up or go down, we do it together and fcking fighting. Now where are you, let's have you Norwich?
My feelings exactly. But I reserve the right to use online vehicles such as this to moan/praise where warranted.
It's everyone's right to say whatever opinion they have, of course. That's mine, I have a lot of grumbles to vent too but I'm going to put them on hold for now and get behind my club.
Loss of from to key players (Mellis) Injuries to key players at key times (Davies, Perkins) Poor tactics (Hill) New signings not firing (Mido, Harewood, Etuhu) Lack of progression of last years players (McNulty, Done - also injured at wrong times) It's not as simple as Keith is ****.
You keep forgetting the wasted signings of Collins, Edwards, Silva, Rooney, the wasted loans, we did not need an even more defensive midfielder than we already had, we certainly did not need a young striker from Peterbro to sit on the bench. The abysmal decision making regarding the positions of the players is worse than even Davey, his constant bleating that we cant expect to compete and the fact none of it is his fault.
Not forgetting them at all, signings haven't worked out. The point being though that the majority have been punts, risks. When he's gone for quality/proven experience (Harewood, Edwards, Greening) they've not worked out for whatever reason. He's signed a lot of players but on very little wages. The ones that will cost haven't performed. I read somewhere that the biggest part odd management is luck I just don't think we've had our fair share.
