- Jacob Melis reading in the paper that he's been watched by two premiership teams - Takeover talks confirmed with foreign investers - Craig Davies asked about his future - Keith Hill in talks with Patrick Cryne - Keith hints at signing O'Grady, The Don says he's never asked Wednesday about him I really wish this week had been all about being on the training pitch and getting back to back wins for the first time this season. Seems to have turned in to a bit of a circus
Wasn't in the public domain then though was it? None of my points mentioned were being discussed by the media prior to Saturday
Relax, no point in stressing about it. It's a consequence of good performances and reasonably good start to the season. What is the alternative? Play crap to keep our players off the radar? The take-over has been muted for years, Cryne was only ever a custodian - although a very generous one. As for contracts, 2 year sensation or expensive 5 year flop - them's the gambles. Only thing to guard against is falling into the loop of close-season rebuilding - good early season performances - January team dismantling - perennial relegation battle. Repeat.... Maintain this form and we will be a more a desirable place to be and seen as less of a soft touch. There has to be a team spirit that it would be very hard to live without. I'm having a rare visit home this weekend and I can't wait to watch em.
