except for genuine medical emergencies-example -just one of many-Man City sign an American youngster and immediately loan him out for the season to a German club-bonkers IMHO
Also it allows the big spending clubs to hoover up all the talent and then loan on a grace and favour basis to favoured managers-makes my blood boil!!!!

Maximum squads would avoid that including players out on loan although i'm sure the bigger clubs will always look at ways of finding the loophole for their own benefit.

What's going on at Man City is disgraceful.

It is no different to what Man Utd have been doing for years.
Hull have had a few Utd youngsters on year long loans, they hoover all the kids they can, just in case they turn out to be good. They take more kids on than other teams , then loan them out and see if they are any good, that way they are not actually losing much if the player is not good enough, if he turns out to be a good one they bring him into the United squad.
