We used to have a category system in place dependant on how long you have held a season ticket etc.. Then finally before general sale it went on to stubs from previous matches etc..

I can't imagine why that system got dumped for a free for all??

If this was reinstated it would probably help with the queue situation down at oakwell, plus introduce online sales to take demand off the box office. It's not rocket science.

I missed out on Liverpool tickets as a season ticket holder but went to the live beam which although not the full experience, got to see the match live so not too bad.

Got my normal seat for the Chelsea match without any problems or queue so happy this time.
People who needed to wait for general sale, a bit tough if all matches this season attended but at least it's on the beeb and you get to watch it live for free!

Unfortunate that demand outstripped availability but thats life. I would seriously look to re-introduce the category system and online booking though in future.

Plus if everybody who has a ticket for the chelsea match went to every match, I am sure the club would have redeveloped the old west stand to meet demand by now!! I would also think that if all these stay away supporters packed oakwell every game we would once again become a promotion chasing force with the extra revenue....

Also when does Davy get the sack???? lol..

Now on 1.29 points per game whereas Ritchie finished on 1.34 points per game (all matches played)..
Joke by the way, stability required for me!!

Totally agree, i posted something similar at the time. We had on average 3,00 tickets each away game in the prem, and there was none of this. Everyone knew what their standing was in the pecking order. End of confusion as far as i can see. Re instate this NOW
