Hasn't he got a bit of a history of taking this stance with players? Oh and I don't think **** shows up well on black shirts anyway.
Di Canio is starting to come across as a buffoon in my opinion. Forget his charisma, his 'glittering' playing career and the fact that the media love him, he's bordering on bonkers. Ok, so a strong stance with players is commendable but what he's done there (and before I recall) is basically totally humiliate a player. I'd be cringing if I was a Swindon supporter.
Far from it Sambatyke - my mates down here who are Swindon fans absolutely love him - he is straight talking and like the original poster states; 'takes no sh*t'. He's also got them playing some sublime football (Sundays result notwithstanding) - they absolutely played Brighton off the park the other week
I also think the same about Ian Holloway (the Blackpool boss). He showed himself up when the FL show covered our game there last season, remember their players two footed lunge and red card. I think it was Keith Southern and Holloway acted like a pathetic little child when the ref quite rightly got the card out. And I noticed he did it again after their loss at Leicester at the weekend, Nigel Pearson waited for his handshake while Holloway went on and on at the ref for not playing enough Fergietime.
I lost a lot of respect for Holloway that day, and you could see at the weekend Nigel Pearson looked bemused at the little ****'s behaviour.
Yep, I agree LD and Im getting tired now with the idea that Holloway is great, and amusing, and good for the game of football etc.. He is NOT, unless his team wins of course when he will come out with all the usual crap under the name of comedy/banter!!
