Devaney linked with another club therefore he's rubbish and wouldn't be missed at all. I despair at times.

He is rubbish... in my opinion. There are 8-9000 regular attending home supporters and 1000 away supporters. You can't expect everyone to have the same opinion as you. I pay my money. I watch Devaney week in week out just like you. And i think he'd be no big loss.

i think its time deveny moved on simply because hume and this french kid can both play on the wings meaning compettion for places is going to increase so he prebably won't play as many games this season and we might as well get some money for him as him leave for free at the end of next season

 

Big Mistake to Let Devaney Go

Yes hes hot and cold and frustrating at times but on his day he is fantastic and impossible to defend against.
He also seems to react to competition when he knows hes not guarenteed a place.

Who else would be capable of a cross like that against Liverpool!

We are now looking at a decent squad at the club and Davey is moving towards the squad game, i feel he would be missed an irreplacable

For me, Davaney is a confidence player

One week he looks like a world beater the next week he can be marked out of the game
I think he lacks confidence at times

But I still think he has something to offer Barnsley........so I would definitly keep him

Agreed Nudge. I don't think it's just confidence though, a lot of the time he's played out of position on the left. Were he to start all his matches on the right I think we'd see a far more consistent player.
