People who have tried to defend him on here or maybe not defend but stop what others say about him want to take a long hard look at themselves. He should have been banged up first time dirtry Barsteward, just as bad as rapists.
One of the things that upsets me Second to the fact that people like him keep the child porn industry in business which is obviously the most upsetting. Is that foolishly like some others I took his apparent contrition and promises that he had already seen the errors of his ways at self value. It makes it harder to give others who commit crimes and who really are genuinely sorry a second chance
no cure for kiddy fiddlers, they start on the lower levels of child abuse - photos etc then they get addicted and work up to more and more busive images and actions.
RE: One of the things that upsets me People who believed him are quite frankly idiots and people who still attended games with him what to take long hard looks at themselves.
He is mentally ill and will never be normal, why he was allowed a internet connection in his home was beyod me that is one thing they should have taken away straight away that and there ******

What I don't understand about people like you farnham and by people like you I simply mean people that as you say took his words at self value, is that in his 'apology' statement it was plainly obvious that he didn't mean it. In it, yes he apologises, he tries to make out that he is sorry but he also slips in quite a few statements and phrases that show, quite clearly, that he didn't mean a word of it and that he wasn't sorry at all. A few of these phrases and words that were all too obvious (and picked up on at the time by quite a few): I've tried (successfully so far!) to restrain myself from responding to the various ill-informed comment made on this Forum during recent weeks - In his opening sentance he tries to shift the blame from himself onto the posters of the BBS. Claiming that they were making ill-informed comments. No Chris, you were convicted, any comment was informed and justified. I certainly have no wish to either prolong or re-ignite any debate on my misdemeanours - It was only a slight misdemeanour in his eyes, nothing too serious. given the diatribe that took place on here last night - Again, shifting the blame. All this and it is only the first paragraph. I would have thought that if he was truely sorry then the first paragraph would have had the word sorry in it. Odd that it didn't. as the Bible says 'let he who is without sin cast the first stone' - Here we go, not ASKING for forgiveness but actually pointing out to everyone that they SHOULD forgive him. The offences were totally out of character (given I have never previously shown any such tendencies) and occurred over a brief period of time (relative to my current life-span, 6 months is brief) - An excuse. Here he is trying to pass it off. It wasn't important, just a minor oopsy. Should I have been given a custodial sentence, as Oscar reckons? I'm not sure I'm the right person to answer that So he doesnt think he deserved prison (if he thought he did he would have known rather than saying he cant answer) I seemed to be the only person involved who was convinced that a spell in prison was inevitable - Chris was here making an attempt to point out (and thus basically brainwash people into thinking) that nobody who knew the facts actually thought it was very serious. The judge didn't think it was too serious, only a man who was shitting himself panicked and thought it would mean prison. Apparently he claims that even his son didn't think it was serious. Odd I reckon. Just a way to fool people into believing that the courts didnt think it was much to worry about. It is worth noting that he says he THOUGHT he was going to prison, not that he believed he SHOULD. Judge Rosenberg listened to the facts and evidence placed before him, examined the images and researched and considered over a period of 4 weeks before passing judgement yesterday - based on those facts and evidence and taking into account my previous good character, the pre-sentence reports and the low level of the images. - Same as before, he points out the low level of images so it was nothing serious and look, the judge didnt think it was anything so why should we? Do I expect any forgiveness? NO. - That is strange, earlier you were reciting the bible to us telling us to forgive you. This statement of you not expecting forgiveness is not true and is inserted simply to make you look better and thus gain a little sympathy and/or respect. I do not deserve such understanding or support - but am extremely grateful to you for it, nonetheless. It certainly reflects well on the humanity of this BBS community. - In a post that is supposedly apologising there is absolutely no need to then start mentioning people who forgive him. This is done for two simple reasons, A/. to again show that lots of people dont think the matter is serious so it cant be, and B/. to hint that people should follow their lead and forgive him. BBS has been close to my heart ever since I first got involved with it over 8 years ago. The Police, CPS, Probation Service and the Court all recognised that the site had absolutely no bearing on my crime or vice versa. It was the Chronicle that linked the two together - for reasons which only they can explain, seeing as no mention of fc.net or Tommy Tyke was made in court at any stage and the crime and court proceedings are what the paper is supposed to be reporting on. - This section clearly shows Chris again shifting the blame. I made an oopsy but the chronicle are the real bad guys, they wrote bad things. Evil Chronicle, lets blame them. the Chron's article has resulted in adverse publicity for the BBS and for that I am deeply apologetic to you all - given my actions instigated it. - Yet again, shifting the blame. It wasnt his conviction for kiddy porn that resulted in bad publicity, it was the chron. He was merely a minor (oh the irony) part of it all. Also he claims to be sorry to the BBS, his insincerity was clear to all when he then registered on the new bbs. If he was really sorry and wanted to avoid causing anymore distress or bad publicity for the members of the BBS he would have stayed away. The rest of the Site Admin team have insisted that I carry on being a member of that team, so I intend to do just that - How many times can he write about how much people are forgiving him? Why doesnt he just write 'your wife and kids (irony again) forgive me, you should too'? His statement of I intend to do just that contradicts his previous statement of being sorry to the BBS members as it shows an unwillingness to remove himself and the bad publicity. His ego is more important than that. The way I've undertaken that task has not altered in the past 12 months - Quite odd this as I am sure he didnt post for months whilst having 'computer troubles'. Mainly that it was in pieces in a police lab somewhere. Should anybody feel it has then I'd be interested to see examples to back that up, bearing in mind three other people have the capability to monitor, delete, ban etc., - How dare you criticise. Oh aye, really sorry. If the rest of SA are happy for me to continue, then that's good enough for me. I fully recognise that not everybody will be happy with that decision, but maybe those people should ask themselves 'who provides this Forum to allow them to freely express their opinions?'. - Don't have a go at Chris, you all owe him one. Forgive him because he runs this site. Well I say that he ran it, he actually took the credit whilst being a VERY small part in running it. He was the mouthpiece, somebody who loved compliments and people being in debt. It made his head swell more than a picture of young tiffany in her bathers. In the final analysis - my family and close friends (many with young families of their own incidentally) have been understanding, compassionate, totally supportive and are standing by me - Had to get it in one final time about how many people think it was just a little mistake. Tommee... - His real name his Christopher Corke, his username was Tommy Tyke. His use of a fun nickname at the end of this post shows how serious he was about it. If you cheated on your partner would you write a letter begging forgiveness, explaining how serious the matter was and how much you were sorry and then sign it 'love, your sexy little man' or another slang name? I wouldnt. As you can see, his post was littered with sections showing that he didn't believe he had done wrong, wasn't sorry and was trying to influence people and make THEM feel guilty and that they owed him something. How did anybody fall for it? I can't work that out.
I don't think the folk that were persuaded by him Are the ones who should have anger directed at them. There's one bloke responsible for all this.
RE: What I don't understand about people like you farnham
No point having a go now, what was done was done. Clearly those whobelieved this statementwere in the wrong.
It wasn't as simple as that though as most people know, there were other factors in play, but thats all irrelevant now and Corke is on his own.

Don't get me wrong Dirk, there is no anger at anybody who believed him. That wasn't my intent at all. I only posted what I did in reply to farnham and not somewhere else is because he brought up the 'right to reply' post. I was genuine when I said that I couldnt work out how people fell for it but I certainly don't think they did anything wrong in believing him, they made a judgement call and in this case were sadly wrong. At many other times they have been right and others wrong, its the way life is.
Sorry Harrow, wasn't having a go at anyone. I was just disecting Tommy's post to show how this wasn't just a second mistake, he hadnt made an attempt to avoid it, his original post shows that he was never truely sorry.
They both are arent they? Though Farnham, thankfully for VERY different reasons. At least Kylie is old enough, though a tad too old for me (and tommy it would seem). I never liked Tommy Tyke, he was always in it for himself and loved the attention, loved having everyone falling over themselves to kiss his arse. What a scnuthorpe he is.
