Apologising for having to increase subscriptions again. Poor sods on sports going to have to stump up another £2.50 per month. Glad I got out of it.... robbing *******s. My documentary package is going up £1.50. And I imagine it's all so they can pump yet more billions into our beloved Premier League with their over paid primadonnas. And extra parachute payments for the failures. I hate Sky nearly as much as I hate Tescos... think they can do what they want and hang the consequences, walking over people like they are **** on their shoes.
£2.50 does seem a tad expensive but that makes around it £25 a month for sports.....you can just about attend Jokewell ONCE for that, whereas you can watch sports all day long if you want to on Sky. I don't agree with the overpayment of the footy players especially those tos..ers that represented England but ..... for the amount of sport i watch, £25 aint bad. Sorry folks but millions more agree as they pay the fee also. They have a good product and are maximising profits. I would do the same. hth
Still good value when you work out all the sport you can see. Compare that to when I went to West Ham v Man United last year and it cost £65 a ticket for a off middle seat with me knees up to my chin, could not get to the toilet at half time never mind getting a drink and then took 3 hours to get to the tube. Personal choice as I would rather put me feet up wi A cup of tea and see the goals and replays. Although I do agree they are getting a bit much with their grovelling excuses excuses for increases. They keep adding extras that not everybody wants but have to have. I do not like F1 nor want this new European football channel plus sick of telling em I do not want a catch up box! Now paying a licence fee for BBC repeat after repeat".....dint get me going on that.
I pay £45.00 a month for Sky Sports , Sky Talk And Sky Broadband - Great value for money If it was £90.00 a month i would still pay for it
People who pay for Sky Sports are directly damaging clubs like Barnsley and many more like us. It may seem like good value for money but I prefer to look at the bigger picture.
People who pay for a tv licence are too aren't they? And haven't barnsley made plenty of money from sky?
I've just given notice on Sky having been duped long enough. The latest trick of repackaging a load of things they already show in a new channel, SS5, further diluting the tat they show on the other four channels before losing the main item next year but getting people tied into longer broadband contracts is little short of a con. For me, they only have the cricket and rugby league that's worth watching and it ain't worth it. Just my view but I don't think I'll miss it.
Packed in Sky last year for BT instead. Pluses: Lot cheaper than Sky for sport, free with broadband and £3 extra per month for HD. BT Sport online quality is a lot better than Sky Go. Minuses: Very poor customer service based in India, takes multiple calls to sort out any problems, Sky's British-based customer service is much better. Most of the games last season were Saturday 12.15pm so you don't get to see all of the game because you have to set off for the Barnsley match.
Ok I'll cancel tonight But I expect Barnsley to be in the champions league in no longer than 6 years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not been told of an increase yet. Won't apply though because after a rant last month it's a set price for the next 12 months at five pound a month off.
You do what you want, its a free country and they provide a service but being flippant about the impact Sky have had on English football just demonstrates how the marketing machine has tainted all that was once good about the game.
