Couple of months in at a new team in a higher league and he's the 'worst ever' etc.

Why any fcker would want to play for Barnsley is beyond me sometimes.

He'd get a lot less abuse if he looked like he was trying

He doesn't and in my opinion that's unforgivable. Having said that, it's more forgiveable than if he killed babies or summat.

We should all lay off KO

He's not that bad a player...all he needs to work on is his...

    First Touch
    Heading
    Shooting
    Work Ethic

    but he is fast though!

    haha

    I think he's struggling

Ferenczi's injury has probably meant he's started more games than the manager would've wanted at this stage, but to write him off now, well, to be fair it's par for the course on here. ( Jon Walters )

How do you know he hasn't killed any babies ?

We never see how fast he is because he always has his back to goal!

I'm not certain about the babies

But I'll bet you a tenner that he hasn't.

It is too early to write him off, but it's also true that he's looked poor. Not that Mostto has performed any better.

Is that his fault or because of how the team have been performing ?

Both strikers currently are having to drop deep to pick the ball up. get the ball to them in the box and we'll see a difference.

Early signs not good enough. Whether he's been rushed into the first team due to injuries is a question to ask SD. For 200K I would hope he was. The one area SD's messed up in is the forward line. Not one striker brought in that is ready for this league. We can't afford to wait till Xmas for Mostto and Christensen to come good.
A good start could quickly be wiped out.

    3 new strikers

Never going to be an instant success imho. Wish we'd have managed to keep Nardiello.

Goals from midfield have dried up which up to now have masked the lack of goalscoring from the front 2. It was always going to take time for the team with so many new additions to gel and start to work as an attacking unit. (And defensively at the minute ffs) I think it'll come, just hope it's sooner rather than later.

    RE: 3 new strikers

Nardiello, if nothing else, would have at least borne some of the criticism and shielded some of the new players from it.

TFP is right though, football is ****.

inspite of the manager being able to talk the talk it would seem that he's unable to resolve the problem. Davey should/ought to be identifying the problem with both strikers. because Mossto is not comming up with the goods as he did in S. America then the question is why not? given that the manager is reputed to have seen him play back home the logic to perform similarly in England is to play the same style of football. If, however the manager decides differently and chooses to play his own style and Mossto does'nt come up with the goods, then there lies the problem. if there are personal problems, re family and orfriends the, for christ sake do something to eleviate the situation. if the manager cannot communicate effectively to Mossto then, find some fecker who can. the same principals to the differing problems also apply to Kay. it is'nt rocket science but until the problem is resolved the cub, players and fans will be somewhat unhappy. I am trying to be as constructive as is possible.

I would've had money on it at the start of the season, mate...

Only bet I would've won too!

Thought he looked poor on Setdi, though - far from sharp. It's a shame 'cos he had a bright start. Had to endure the bloke behind me screaming abuse at him every time he went near the ball.

Mostto didn't look that much better.

However, as is usually the case, it's always just one player (who then leaves Oakwell and bags double figures every season) with whom all the blame lies...

Kayode Odejayi is better than Tony Cunningham

Factiest fact in the history of facts . Anyone who disagrees knows bugger all about football and their views become null and void .
However , anyone who compares Odejayi with Cyrille Regis knows even less and are obviously thick , old and senile .

Its not the way you do it, its the way your told to do it !!!!

That seems to be the problem with our two front men, tactics, perhaps we should not put all the blame on them.

i'm just trying to work out exactly what he s meant to do when the only 'service' he gets is hopeless long balls from foster. It's not like he can try to lay the ball off to his strike partner because more often than not the little peruvian is stood 50 yards away from him looking completly confused as to what exactly his job is.

If we only get what we paid for why pay at all

If Odejayi is all we expect for 200 grand then why did we buy him. He should at least be playing 200 grand style football.

If we were comparing the price with how they play what can we expect from the 'free transfers' ?????
