    Not a cat in hells chance we could get him, I think the board made the enquiry as a stunt to show the fans they are ambitious knowing full well they would have no chance.

    Ambitious, approaching Mark Cooper?? Run of the mill for me, already had the foundation of a good team at Swindon...

    Now if the story had broken that they had tried to tempt Sir Alex out of retirement using the Martin Ferguson link to the club.. that would have been ambitious, daft but ambitous.. Defo would have got us publicity tho, haha...

    I do wonder if Sir Alex is bored and would like a challenge for a couple of years - would definitely boost season tickets if he suddenly appeared - but then about as likely as Cooper coming to be honest
