and can see em losing 63-3 at minute

  4. To be fair Durham ARE top of the league, but....

This must be the worst Yorkshire team in many a long year. They will be lucky to hang on for a draw at this rate, much like England yesterday.
Individually we have great players but they don't seem to be able to play as a TEAM. Bad management/captaincy? Sound familiar??? :)

Somerset chased down 470 in less than a day

Against us recently after we'd dominated the entire game until the last day.

    Arrgghh.

Bairstow is hardly a chip off the old block....

3 not out from 46 deliveries, he'll probably top himself now.

Why did they ever let Lumb go?

Always thought he was a decent player and he's showing it at Hampshire recently. Got to be better than some of the dross we have.

We will win some next season against the likes of Glamorgan, Leicestershire and Derbyshire. Great.

He refused a new contract and wanted off

Same as Mags but he changed his mind a re-signed when Goughy came back.

    Perhaps you're both right..

...but it's interesting how some targets are acceptable (e.g. Jackson, Goodie) and others aren't (Bairstow, Lady Di). BTW that's a general comment not specifically aimed at you two.

    Lumb?

The same Lumb that only averaged in the early 30s in first class cricket for Yorkshire?

I know he's been on the tele recently with a few high scores but I'd hardly class him as the best 3 players of recent times.

Do you know anything about cricket?
