a month or so ago, I came on here and said we were playing poorly and had been doing so for a while, this was after a 1-0 win....so people said "at least we've won, I'd rather we played poorly and ground out wins" - fair enough, but I said that it wasn't sustainable to keep picking up wins whilst playing poorly - yes, agreed it is the mark of a good team and one that wins promotion that they will grind out a win when they play poorly.....but that is on the occasion they play poorly rather than consistently playing poorly and winning.
Well this is the other side of that coin....where you stop grinding out the wins and instead you start grinding out the draws....but now it's that we are still only 3 pts off automatic - well that's great, I'm pleased that we are still in touch but we HAVE to start performing...hopefully the players can get themselves up for the remaining games, particularly those against out closest rivals and start to put in the performances that are more likely to result in getting points.
I will be behind the team all the way in those remaining games, but that does not include being blinkered and not pointing out when the team aren't performing.

we didn't grind out a draw though - we played OK and deserved to beat bournemouth.
