    a thread last season around the time we were beating Liverpool and Chelsea where it was discussed if we would prefer a good manager or a lucky manager.

    Davey saved his skin again tonight and got a top result into the bargain. Maybe we've got a manager who always seems to pull the "get outta jail free" card from his pocket. I'll settle for a lucky manager if he can drag us up to mid table mediocracy this season.
