I think you'll find the drop in share price is more to do with how badly the NHS National Programme for IT is getting along. iSoft are providing the software for 3 of the 5 "Clusters" of England in this programme which is way behind schedule. This is the largest IT project in the world at the moment and iSoft are heavily involved, if the government pull the plug then it's very bad news for iSoft.
'largest it project in the world' ... Currently looking for an IT Project Mgr role & keep seeing that phrase pop up for leeds based jobs. Do you work there? What's the crack with these PM roles? Are they worth applying for?
RE: Accenture are in charge of it all I believe yes, yes they are. some of it is running ok, and some not so ok. they are way behind with target though i am led to beleive
What a surprise, name me an outsourcing project that's worked? EDS, how much must those jokers be paying in backhanders to ever get any work!
Are you working on this project? If so would you recommend it? As i said i am considering applying for IT PM roles in Leeds
