Just because I fear a fired-up Norwich will beat a fading-fast Reading (too many fs there, but never mind).
Even if I take the very optimistic view that we take 4 points out of 6 against Coventry and Wolves, we'll still only have 51 points, 2 ahead of Norwich assuming they win. I really would like QPR to lose to Plymouth, so Plymouth have nothing to play for on the last day, but I don't see it happening. Mmmm, I'm not optimistic.

**** me mate... if we've got 51 points going into the last game then I hope QPR have dicked all over Plymouth as they'd have 50 points and we'd only need a draw to be above them ! Donnie murdered them so why couldn't we ?
RE: **** me mate... if we've got 51 points going into the last game Would rather play Plymouth if they've got nothing to play for than if they're going to put up a last-minute fight.
Don't think I could stand it if we played for a draw on the last to day to guarantee our survival!

RE: **** me mate... if we've got 51 points going into the last game Dunno though - if Norwich draw next week, we win one of our next two and lose the other and Plymouth lose at QPR (a pretty feasible scenario), that would by my calculations leave Norwich on 47 and us and Plymouth on 50, meaning that a draw would mean us and Plymouth would both stay up.
Possible table after 45 games Squeeky bums all around [img=http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/7599/prediction.jpg]
A subtle but realistic adjustment or two [img=http://img396.imageshack.us/img396/7599/prediction.jpg]
I can't see Forest winning at Blackpool I have that down as a draw - are Blackpool safe though? I can't see Plymouth getting anything from QPR under Ainsworth. Norwich will do well to get anything from Reading, given Reading's current circumstances. Remember what Cureton did for Norwich after going back there. Well, how's about Leroy Lita doing the same for Reading? Is he fit? I think that one could be a draw. For me, until they pulled up their socks, it was between us and Forest on the last day of the season, as Norwich have a better goal difference. I still think our aim should be to finish higher than Forest and we will start that if we beat Coventry on Tuesday. Now that Norwich are on 46 with two left, I think that have two very unpredicable games left. Reading will need the points and may well not be assured of a play-off place come Monday night. Charlton will be playing their last Championship game on front of their very loyal fans and have some good youngsters. That might not be easy either. 51 will probably see us safe, but I would prefer 52, so a win and two draws, or two wins are needed to be reasonably sure.
A draw is highly likely QPR have **** all to play for though Plymouth will be nervous.Cant see Norwich getting more than a point from reading and as you say Charlton could rally now relegation is sealed, pride may come into play.I personally think a win on tuesday or saturday could be enough as it would pile pressure on Norwich, anything less than 2 points from the next two games would be very worrying though not necessarily disastrous.
RE: I can't see Forest winning at Blackpool We could do with Reading losing at Derby on tuesday. Then they will be desperate for the win at Norwich because they have Birmingham on last day.
RE: A draw is highly likely Charlton already have rallied, not lost in 5 or 6. They will want to finish the season with a home victory, can't see Norwich getting owt there. In fact I can quite feasibly see Norwich and Soton losing their last 2. 1 win is what we need.
RE: At the end of the day Not if Norwich beat Reading it won't. And btt...
Just can't see it being decided before the last game now.

REne word pressure we could be 0-0 with a minute to go and they score we are down!i hope to **** it doesn,t go to the last game i think i,ll stay in a darkened room until it finishes.
