The one and only hope we have, and he's on the bench again. We deserve to go down. How can a manager keep leaving out the squads most talented player?
don't see why he should, theres been enough tedious McCourt bashing threads this week works both ways.
I'm a big McCourt fan and he's clearly the most talented player in the club on his day, but lets be reyt, he was given a chance on tuesday and never looked like threatening or did much defending. The lack of defending is fine if he's doing what he's expected to do which is try and unlock defences, so if he's not doing that and not defending, he's doing nothing so then why have him on? I still think paddy works best as a sub and think he should come on during the game maybe, but he's got to take his chances to impress more now because Danny won't pick him as much as flicker would.
not disagreeing with anything you say mate, he didn't play well at all the other day but he was still better than some, who have got much less criticism, that's the only point i was making.
Alright, fair enough. Well i fully agree with that too mate, there were worse players out there. Some of them never take half as much critisism as paddy. Like i say I'm a big paddy fan and I'd honestly like to see him involved a lot more. I was happy to see him in the starting lineup the other day but he let himself down and didn't threaten. There's a thing I like about paddy though that is when he gets the ball, anything is possible and I think we need a bit more of that as of late, we need someone with some confidence to go forward because we might as well go down fighting than this sit back and concede as little as we can attitude we seem to have!!
we need to start at least trying to get on the front foot and if we have Paddy on the pitch we have more of a chance of doing that because he occupies defenders, and can give us a bit of a forward threat. I've mentioned it elsewhere but our foward thinking players are bound to look terrible because we're sat so far back that if they do recieve the ball rather than it sailing over their heads, then they're too deep to be able to threaten. We're just a bit of a mess at the minute pal.

no , but what is to blame is the fact that we have a set of spineless bastads on the pitch, notice I did not say playing as that would be false terminology under the trades description act.
