Without trying to be a doom merchant I do think that Mr Crynes patience will be tested, and despite backing his man with the cash, he wont look too favorably at the current situation from a business point of view, I mean, he didnt amass a fortune like his without cracking a few heads together! Any serious decision he makes will be done in the next 3 matches, say we loose them all, the position is still salvageable at that stage, maybe not if he waits till xmas. The plan is to be in the championship next season, the main reason being that there is quite a bit of extra money coming into the league next summer, about 8 million, a mate of mine drunkadly mentioned, not sure if it is correct, but its substantially more than clubs are getting currently. Getting relegated this season would be really harmful to the bank balance. Lets hope we can get some points on the board and jump some places up the league, although I cant see much coming our way tomorrow, aside from the cup semi Cardiff are a side who generally outplay us at The Well.
October will see if he survives or not,3 derbies, lose them and he's in trouble....I think he'll survive
"aside from the cup semi Cardiff are a side who generally outplay us at The Well." Do they? They've been bloody unlucky then, seeing as they haven't beaten us @ Oakwell since 1984.
RE: 1st game back in the Championship Well spotted Revvie. No wonder they closed OAM down, when commentators are that lax with their research eh?
Well, if it ever gets back up and running Gizza Job [img=http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/38097000/jpg/_38097446_yosser_150.jpg]
To put this into perspective How many games do you think Sturrock (Plymouth) Poortvliet (Southampton) Calderwood (N Forest) and Jewel (Derby) have left? Each is doing worse than Davey in their own way.
