[*]I have Setanta free for the season and have watched it once maybe twice so far[*]I didn't watch any of the live FA Cup 3rd Round games [*]I watch Match of the Day occasionally more by accident than design[*]I have 'The Championship' set on series link but rarely bother to retrieve it[*]I'd rather watch the soaps than tune in to the Champions League [*]I'm thinking of going shopping with the wife on away saturdayafternoonsrather than watch SSN[*]I feel relieved when I realise we haven't got a home game
Can anyone suggest what might be causing this?

yes cos it's ****. **** to watch. **** commentaries and punidts. **** highlights. Watching overhpyed and over paid shits.
Is it because football used to be about more than who had he most money? I know that money has always been a factor, but over the last fifteen years it has just got worse and worse. Today it is sickening. The price of a hospital offered for a single player, and the other club not sure whether they've been offered enough. It's enough to make anyone switch it off. I'd like to know how many Man City fans houses are going to be repossessed this year, and how many families could be saved from that by the sum of money bid for Kaka. Football is a sickeningly cold and cynical game now. Sadly.
Champions League / UEFA Cup is the worst by FAR The majority of the games are completely meaningless.
RE: You're becoming a big girl? You could be right seeing as I've just returned from watching Dancing on Ice!
Thinking about it the main reasons I can think of are:

[*]Too much footy on TV[*]Too many foreigners in the league (not as much british pride to be derived from european success)[*]Our up and mainly down performances (can't bring myself to watch any footy after a Barnsley defeat)
I can see your point But I'm still always looking forward to a Barnsley home game, Saturdays are very dull without them.
RE: I can see your point I think it comes from being on tenterhooks every game. We leave ourselves too much to do in our home games because we have surrendered away (the forthcoming Ipswich game being a prime example). Can't seem to just go to the football and enjoy it any more.
Everybody cancel their Sky subs I'm fed up of paying for Sky at ever increasing prices only to find I hardly watch it. The money goes straight from my bank account, via the Sky bank account, via a few other transit accounts and eventually into Ronaldo's Ferrari replacement fund. And I'm sick of it.
The owners of Manchester City are entitled to spend their money on what they want, just like any of us are if we like it or not.
RE: Everybody cancel their Sky subs I'm desperate to get Sky back just for the Ashes. I wonder if they will let me try it out (again) for 6 weeks from the 8th July?
Cough... splutter...
No Sky!!!My sky+ box broke about a month ago...I actually had to talk to the missus I was that bored !!!

I've thought of that They have Sky at the gym. The subs at the gym are about the same as Sky subs. If I watch the Ashes at the gym, while pedalling on an exercise bike, I calculate my weight will be negative by the end of the Ashes series.
That is really sad Sorry to hear about your broken Sky box, that really is sad. I'd flog you mine (the box, not the missus) but it's not got Sky plus.
Don't be sad...
The nice sky man came after two days and brought me a new one..
Can't miss me footy !!!!
