Seeing the CHronicle reported that Ritchie was impressed with him following his trial and had offered him a contract, it's more than a guess.
The prolific Marc Richards http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=23150 no better than what we have, which basically means he's *****.
RE: The prolific Marc Richards Oh, those are exciting stats. Look at the number of games played. They tell me one of two things: He's either injury prone or not good enough to get into poor sides on a regulaqr basis. Great. Aim high.
RE: Down as a midfield player Either way, hasn't really played much, has he? Nads part II, or Fola part II. Great. No, honestly, I'm dead excited. So chuffed we didn't make a move for Goater or someone like that. You know? A goalscorer? A proven one.
Every top 6 side in every division has a striker of note, one that puts away the chances, one that defenders fear. This seasons roster looks like its taking shape already: Southend (Goater), Swansea (Trundle), Huddersfield (Abbott), Bradford (Windass), Tranmere (Greenacre) etc etc. if we're even remotely interested in finishing within a whiff of the top 6, above teams like those, we need to be finding the cash and the ambition to get someone to partner Hayes. and its not Richards, thats for sure.
