I think i've now had time to calm down, so here goes....

hopefully I can be objective in my opinions.

Firstly i'll start with the players, in my opinion over recent weeks Campbell-Ryce has been poor, this seems to stem from the time that we turned the bids down for him. I do rate him as a player but can't help thinking his mind is elsewhere and not fully on the job in hande - keepin us in the division. To be honest dropping him for a game might give him a shock and hopefully he can get back to his previous best.

I honestly believe that the players do have to take some responsibilty for the derisery performance that have been served up in recent weeks (QPR being the exception). They need to be working harder in games, there is no urgency and also I believe a lack of passion and commitment. I know that there are glimpses of thses but not enough on a consistent basis. There is enough ability in the team for us to be a comfotable mid table side but at the moment none of that is showing through.

Now the manager, i cannot understand Davey and they way he is, there is no passion, commitment and very little movement from him on the touch line, i know that it would not do for all people to be the same but it would be nice to see him at the edge of the technical area trying to get a grip of the team and show some direction. It seems as though he can't make decision either, everything is out of the coaching manual, well its not working and perhaps he needs to try somthing different, befor its too late. I would prefer however that he didn't open his mouth and show so called passion and commitment and get himself sent off as that seems to be the only time he has done it this season and its happend twice.

In summary I personally think it will take a lot to keep us up, i'm not sure if we have the mental ability as a team to sort this situation, I hope we have. I do not believe that this club has progressed over the past 3 years, yes we have better players, but have results improved - no. Simon Davey is not that man to take this club to the next step and establish us as a comfortable mid table Champinship team, survive or be relegated he has to go in the summer and a new man brought in, otherwise in my opinion the club risks alienating the majority of supporters.
