a goalkeeper who comes and takes crosses and commands his box.
At the other end we had ditherer who doesn't take crosses in his own six yard box, confuses centre halves when the ball is running through to him (will he come to kick it? does he want it laying back? I don't know he doesn't communicate and is inconsistent in his actions!!!) He also seems weak when the ball is shot around his feet, very slow to get down.
For once i agree with Baz, time for a change me thinks.

And, we're missing a decent captain Very good captains game from Lee Bullen today.
I agree regarding Crossley, he did play well. However, he does make his fair share of blunders.

he could do with learning to jump as well. but why should he worry, its not like we are gonna drop him in a hurry is it for letheren??
All season..... I have been wanting to give Calgon the benefit of the doubt, such was his performances of last season. But to me he seems back to the days of when he first came. A complete world away from Crossley today. MC always looked comfortable, NC never did.
Has no idea how to boss the defence. A lot of our defensive blunders IMO do come from his lack of organisation. Getting beat at the near postfor their first goalwas awful goalkeeping.

If NC had watched the ball instead of shouting and waving his arms around at Ozzie he would have surely saved their first goal, very unprofessional, ive never knocked him before but to day he was poor, did make 1 good save though i guess, but Crossley showed how to command the area very well
RE: If NC had watched the ball instead of shouting and waving konstantopolous from hartlepool is immense. gerrim in
Nick Colgan Could shot-stopper but that's it. Fails to command any respect within the box either from his own or opposing team. By that I mean that our players would have been nervous about challenging for a ball with Crossley today because of his constant ability to win such challenges. Whereas Colgan rarely manages to climb for a ball or punch clear. Also there was an occasion today where Hassel was moving backwards with the ball and needed some clear instructions as to where the opposition player was and what to do, but obviously no such instructions came as the confusion continued. I'd rather have someone who can cope with the bread and butter of goalkeeping and be slightly less able to pull of an occasional outstanding save.
Marlon Beresford Maybe getting on a bit but still a quality keeper and if Luton sign Kiely permanently then he would be sitting on the bench every week.
