I think our main problem yesterday was

that we were *****.

 

And that the other team scored 3 more goals than us.

this may seem daft, but I think we are gonna do ok ..just a gut feeling

up to half time I thought we were growing in confidence , and more than them. Its so easy to blame the officials but they really were *****, and did us no favours at all, the penalty could not be denied, but if he coulda he woulda I think. I saw a lot of good things from us , and ok its the old old story "give em time to gel" etc etc etc , but I think they will be ok.We have signed 10 new players and maybe 2 to come,to expect a crisp all systems go performance was never gonna be. We will play plenty of teams much much lesser equipped than Coventry this season , AND, we will do well with them.I still think we will have a fiinih around 15 to 17 mark, which is progress. Muller will improve Colgan( and I am perhaps one of his fiercest critics) by way of a REAL challenge in the GK dept, and we have competition for all places across the board. Yes 4 - 1 hurt, it hurt bad.BUT , its game one of forty six, give them a break,lets see what the situation is 10 games or so down the line before we have witch hunts and pull the communication cord.
