Isn't he the one on Alan Hanson's Morrison's advert? If so he looks good, but is he injured, if so I bet he's really crap, booooooooooooooo !!!! Davey out.
Remember I brought you this first....Well here's another for you.. We will complete the signing of Jon Macken in the next couple of days onloan until the end of the seson with the first option of signing him for £400,000 before the end of the season. Swansea are sniffing but we r in prime position Anderson da silva wil not be returning to Oakwell, he will probably go to Norwich or Derby. Everton are wanting in the region of £500,000
RE: Remember I brought you this first....Well here's another for you.. That's terrible news...if he doesn't return he'll be a massive loss
it was bound to happen with loanees............... terrible system IMHO-simply benefits the bigger clubs
RE: Remember I brought you this first....Well here's another for you.. Knew about the left back early saturday afternoon. Macken is out of contract at the end of the season and so can't ask for money for him come May. That is why the only way he will join us will be permanent this month. If the De Silva stuff is true, well done the board for not willing to pay over the odds for him.
Over the odds? Without De Silva we will REALLY struggle. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if we come close to relegation. He runs our midfield and without him, theres so many gaps there.
RE: Remember I brought you this first....Well here's another for you.. When we look at what we've spent so far this season, 500k would not be over the odds...he's a very good player, easily good enough for the championship.
I'm sure Davey realises this and will do everything he can to try and sign him, and no doubt the board are 100% behind this signing. I could understand himineteresting other clubs though, and as Paul said...this is always the problem. Played well for us and so was always going to attract attention. As long as he is affordable we shoyld do everything we can to bring him in, especially now McCann has gone

Been at Everton over two years and only played once. Soon shipped out on loan to the Spanish second division and then we ended up with him. He's played 25 first team games in three years, which isn't much. He's not scored in those 25 games and we can get him in the summer for nothing anyway. Anyway we have spent big money by our standards this season and Cryne can't be expected to keep opening the cheque book.
