I think the Peterborough match next Saturday could be an even heavier defeat

I'm hoping Hill and the players aren't going into the match with Peterborough thinking they can just turn up and get the 3 points - like they did against Coventry because otherwise they'll be in for a big shock.
Peterborough are nowhere near the best team in the league but they know where the back of the net is and our defence is sh*te. Could be another embarassing afternoon at Oakwell...

Holloway said: “That was a rocky display from start to finish. Peterborough’s players did their jobs much better than us and deserved to win. I wouldn’t think we won one individual battle.

“They walked through our defence twice in the first three minutes which was a complete shock. They have great attacking players and yet we let them through so easily it was frightening.

“It was a good job my goalkeeper turned up or they might have done to us what they did to Ipswich. They had 23 shots on our goal and many of them were one-on-ones, and that didn’t happen to us very often in the Premier League.

“Credit to them because they played well, but we were awful. We tinkered with the system a bit, but what it boils down to is players doing the business on the grass and with the ball.

“They were much better than us in that respect. We will have to improve quickly if we are to stay in the play-off picture.

“If we had reached half-time 1-0 down we might have had a chance, but we conceded a crazy second goal at the end of the first half which killed us.”

 

I dont think we'll go down even if we lose but I am worried about the game because they were a decent side at their ground and caused us a lot of problems; Steele saved quite a few that day. We scored four that day but at the minute we don't look like we will score again this season. If Posh play anything like they did at their place they will beat us IMO.
