...he is the only one who looks like scoring ie the only one who gets in to goal scoring positions. Football is a funny game that once one goes in, a couple might follow. Strikers who worry me most are the ones that never create a chance or get in the right positions. What you have to ask yourself is given that none of the strikers are going to score loads who brings most to the whole team, creating set pieces and chances for midfield. For me you are looking at KO, Macken and Coulson. Which ever starts they are all we've got until the end of the season. Until then get behind them and lets hope we stay up
I said to my Dad on the way back that there is no-one else we have upfront that would've ended up in that position, except for Coulson the other strikers have no pace what so ever
Some very valid points. Which I agree with. Said through gritted teeth though as I still believe that chance on Sunday should have been buried. Strikers are paid to sciore goals!!!
Nardiello? Not sticking up for him, because I know he's been *****.. but his goals at the end of last season show he would have finished that.
Ahh, but.... just at the moment, he'd have said '**** that'. It's the keeper's ball, I'm not chasing that.
Hasselwank had one one chance a luke warm effort hit straight at steele thought both him and tricky trev were both very poor especially as they were 'premiership' strikers
Definately should have cored and not defending him on that count but as a centre-half KO would be the last person I would want to mark for 90 minutes
A few of istvans goals last season were ones that he ran onto, nardiello has done it, coulson has done it, macken has done it. Odejayi has not...
RE: Nardiello couldn't have stayed onside nt
Too right. Plus he wouldn't have chased it. If the ball is not to feet with Nards, he's not interested

says it all eh? If you don't make good chances, you can't be called rubbish for missing the easy ones you create
Ode would have been better not to have created a chance to win the game. Then he wouldn't be such a donkey for missing it. Makes complete sense to me now I put it like that.

yes but he hasnt yet ran onto a ball and scored. never ever in 39 hours of playing for barnsley has he managed to run onto a ball and put it into the net. and believe me he's had the opportunity.
