No more excuses, no more plucky defeats, Barnsley have to make changes. Hopefully not the manager, but time to bring in a couple of new faces and sharpish. I still maintain we have a good core to the team - the spirit, the manager, the passion, all great to see but we need that hard edge now. Get some muck in the eye Gord.
agree with you why not give one of the young strikers a run alongside Richards? or maybe drop hayes and give wright 5 starts on the trot? or start healy alongside togwell?

yeah, i'd like to see Healy given a chance but our midfield would be to weak if we dropped Togwell. I'd like to see us try a 352 but have we got the players? we could do: gk Colgan CB reid, Kay, Hassell WB tonge, williams/mcindoe CM howard, togwell, healy cf anyone but i don't think AR will not play 442

RE: bring the shrink then! if any of you were there to day like me, you would have realised tommy wright did more in 10minutes than richards did all 80. richards got bullied around and couldnt hold the ball up it just kept comming back at us.even tho wright is bad he still gets stuck in and puts him self about.our defence isnt big enough or strong enough,midfield went missing when healy came on he wouldnt tackle. devaney not good enough. as a team we lack pace and quality to punish teams. any decent team would have punished sunderland today because they were as bad as sheffield wednesday for 80minutes.time to get players on loan and fast before its too late.
