What was your very first football shirt you owned ?, was it really and Barnsley FC ? mine was a pass me down from my Dad, http://www.oldfootballshirts.com/en/teams/b/barnsley/old-barnsley-football-shirt-s12065.html
I've got that one above, but with "Brooklands Motel" on it. It is the one worn by Ian Walsh (or Roger Wylde - I can never remember). Am thinking of framing it and donating to Redfearns. My first kit was a West Ham kit - I was four. My dad played and his team played in West Hams colours (for no reason other than it must have been a cheap team kit ! !) and when West Ham were on telly I always thought it was my Dads team. West Ham must have been my first club therefore, and Bobby Moore was my first and greatest hero.
Ronnie Whelans 1986 double winners shirt. One I could wear, 1989 tarn shirt and Italia 90 England shirt
Mine was a Barnsley kit circa 1968. Strictly speaking there weren't replica kits back then, not with the club crest and Eric Winstanley's name on the back anyway. It probably would have done as a Man U shirt as it was identical to the one Brian Glover wore in Kes but to me it was a Barnsley shirt.
