I can't remember Turnbull making as save. Maybe he should have done, Bradford's opener looked very soft, but it could just have been really well placed. Their 'keeper made a number of excellent stops.

Nyatanga, bless him, isn't much of a footballer, but he scored one and set one up today. And he's a solid defender in the left back position. We look far more secure on the left since he took over that position.

If, for whatever reason, you haven't seen us before today and got your first look on the telly, you might be surprised by the way we played football after the criticism you have read on here. You shouldn't be, we've played that way in spells all season. Even when MK Dons and Swindon hammered us. At home to Crewe in the cup I thought we were even better than we were today, but we lost that 2-0. Goals change your perception of how the team have played and in some games we've just missed our chances.

We're still short of some steel in central midfield, we're sometimes a bit naive, we're inconsistent, but we're a young side and you've got to allow for that. What we can do, which was obvious to me right from the start of the season, is play good football.

There are teams in this division that are better than us, they play football as well as us but also have that physical presence all over the pitch which we're still lacking. But there are a good deal more that we'll outplay at Oakwell.

Our manager has only had one transfer window to get his team together. He actually only had two weeks as O'Grady was sold very late. The squad isn't right yet, it's a work in progress, but we can and already have played some great football this season and had a few good wins. We're going to lose some more games this season, whether that be in a week or a month. It'd be nice, when that happens, if it wasn't met with calls for the manager to go.

Don't think I could criticise a single player in our team today. Well played Reds.

    I agree

Arabian Ian was a happy bunny today. Even Dragon Tyke enjoyed it and was in a good mood afterwards. I think I'll have to mark that on the calendar!:D

    Re: I agree

They only had one shot on target and that was the goal. I thought we were pretty dominate and the number of shots on and off target showed that.

I'm hoping that Williams can help add that bit of steel in midfield. He was very strong in the tackle for a winger. Bailey and Hourihane aren't the type of players to really get stuck in but with Berry and Williams looking very busy and not afraid of putting a foot in, I think we'll be alright.

Just watched a recording of the entire game and 3-1 definitely flattered Bradford.
