I thought an elbow in your opponents face was a straight red

    How come Phil Neville didnt even get a yellow. Ref must have seen it to give a free kick

    Depends how 'vicious' the elbow is!!

    Clearly Reidy's last week at Layer Road was GBH whereas Neville's today was erm, 'accidental'!!

    Whilst Sheringham made the most of the incident last week, I have to agree that Neville at least deserved
    a yellow card today.

    Refereeing inconsistencies - fact of life unfortunately - pretty much like some recent umpiring decisions, viz., Tendulkar yesterday!!
