I thought at the end of last season that if we bought 4 or 5 good players we were ok.

We have brought in 10 so far and with a few more to come.
Why the hell did we need that many?

It showed on Sat just how big the problem is trying to get a new team together. Especially one with so many from other countries.

Davey's earned the right to manage, mate, after last season. He wants his own team and that's what he's done. There was always going to be teething problems with so many new players and, as you rightly point out, so many different nationalities.

Big test is tomorrow night - he needs to play the first team squad and use every opportunity to get 'em playing together. A good result tomorrow will rebuild their confidence and get 'em fired up for Colchester.
