I thought the first half was poor from us

e fWith pretty much the entire side trying their best not to put a tackle in. Time after time Bradford would walk through our midfield or simply pass it round them and the defence didnt fair much better. That being said we had by far the better efforts on goal but in my opinion these were more individual moments of brilliance than a good team effort.

Dont know what Wilson said to them at half time but they came out and spent the next 45 minutes tracking back, putting tackles in and working their arses off. We also seemed to stop hitting long balls out to the left wing (and into the west stand) and actually put the ball on the deck and we were brilliant.

If we continue to play like we did in the first half we will win some games due to wonder goals but lose a hell of a lot too due to a lack of effort and organisation. In fact that pretty much sums up our entire season so far doesnt it? If we continue where we left off today and carry on with the effort and work rate of the second half then we shouldnt fear anybody in this league.

Here's hoping that half time saw the turn around in our season.

 

I thought we were positive and proactive

 

You must've been watching a different first half to me. I thought we played very well, and it was only a matter of time before we turned the game round. The work rate of the whole team was top-notch from the second minute to the 95th.

 

Just finished watching on sky and a lot of the lack of effort defensively doesnt come across on tv. For a large portion of the first half our players were doing very little in the way of closing down or tackling. Going forward there was a lot of effort but defensively only bree was really cutting it

 

We were getting forward well and getting shots away - bit more luck and winnall could have had a couple. Didn't think they posed any threat after the first ten minutes

 

Fair enough, there are often things that you see in the ground that aren't really noticeable on the telly. But from where I was sitting, we never really looked like conceding after their goal.

 

I watched from tele and I thought fist half we played really well, we should have been level by halftime. We was the Farr better team both halfs, they hardly had any shots and caused no threat. Opinions eh

 

I went and in a way agree with what you're saying, I felt we let them walk through us a little bit and we let a lot of crosses go into the box by standing off them. Saying that though, we still had quite a lot of efforts in the first half and played fairly well. Second half was much, much better though and we fully deserved the win. Hopefully we can build on the last couple of results, get a run going and get some consistency (we can all hope!)
