So someone explain why tickets for away fans stopped being sold yesterday. And why they cannot pay on the day. At the very least they could have stayed on sale until end of today. Losing a lot of cash from only 4,000 coming. With sales today when people tend to get paid, and finish work earlier. Plus paying on the day 2moro for the spare of the moment people. I reckon another thousand would have been on the gate.......

Down to Leeds I presume that they were stopped. Speaking to quite a few Leeds fans this season and been no end of problems trying to get away tickets!

it's because SY Police have designated the match as a potential troublespot

they are trying very hard to ensure segregation of fans-don't think they'll succeed mind you

I know of at least one Leeds fan living locally who deserves a kicking!!

After seeing you on Wednesday evening ...

... you look like you'd struggle kicking a can, nevermind a Leeds fan.

You look like a silver fox.
That has been ravaged by hounds.
    And is anorexic.

Apart from that - you're a fine figure of a man.

    You gret puff.

Not hard enough to fill him in yourself - so you want the thugs to fill him in for you?

Why don't you math him to death?
Stab him with a protractor & whisper quadratic equations into his ear.
    That'll sort him out.

How can you have pay on the day....

That would be a total recipe for disaster... how are the club and Police supposed to organise crowd safety.

They need to know how many Leeds supporters are entering the ground. Basic rule of Health and Safety.

That'll be down to the police

Certainly not allowing away tickets to be sold on day of game....you don't allow tickets to be sold to away fans on day of game when you have a potential away sell out and potential trouble

    The crux of the matter

think they have only sold 4000 or so

Leeds have had trouble with their crappy away ticket distribution.

So potentially lots of leeds fans without tickets want to go to game and forced into home areas.

    sound policing policy?

    hmmmm

Haven't Leeds got a membership scheme where you have to pay so much before you can buy an away ticket.

RE: The crux of the matter

In which case that is down to Leeds. You cannot run the risk of a few thousand Leeds fans coming without tickets and many of them not getting into the ground, or deciding to buy in home areas.
DB3000 is having a go at BFC on this when it is absolutely nothing to do with the club.

it's because they have a significant proportion of hoolies who can't face the fact that they are on a downward spiral and so take it out on the fans of clubs they perceive as being smaller than them.

    Motto:

forget the football-remember we nearly won the Champions League! -and beat up the Southend and Colchester fans
