No, not really. But on another day we would have scored a few and won the game comfortably. But excellent is definitely stretching it.

    What a load of ballax!

It worries the hell out of me when he comes out with such drivel

Aye got to agree. Slightly worrying if he's described that performance as excellent. I've ceased listening/reading his interviews. I fully support him but he's annoying me as much as flicker did with what he says (I didn't listen to his interviews either after a while).

We were bang average and for 80 minutes appeared to be the better team as the other one was very poor. Then some un-excellent management spectacularly wrecked it all.

Lack of (a) end product (how many times does Harris beat a man, cut in, stop and then shoot against the recovering defender's ballax?); (b) communication (they look to be walking around like lost sheep at times); (c) passion (SSW and JS excepted) and (d) any fecker in the box other than SSW on his own against two to three big men and Lewin from corners.

Worried that although more intelligent and likeable than Hill, he's becoming as stubborn in his views.

We'll probably win comfortably tonight and everything will be well again until we can't beat Crewe on Setday.

Excellent Performance = Played well x Won

Good Performance = Played poorly x Won

Average Performance = Played good x Lost

Poor Performance = Played poorly x Lost

I didn't go to Donny, but on what has been said on here I would describe it as an Average Performance

In other words the result is the most important (which of course it is) so contradicts previous posts by you recently.

Think the word 'comfortable' sums up our performance saturday. Excellent we were not.

Excellent is stretching it, but despite the result it was the best performance I've seen from us this season.

Sure that on Saturday, during Radio Sheffields coverage. One of the reporters said that it was the worst game that he had ever seen in Division 1

They said that the Owls match was the worst they had seen for a long time, when they went to the summaries.

How many games have you seen? Nowhere near best performance. IMO obviously.

I didn't go so cannot comment if we played well. Looking at the stats though they had 2 attempts on target and scored from both we had more on and off target shots, more corners and more possession and listening to radio Sheffield sounded like a smash and grab defeat. Move on.

As I said after the game I thought we controlled the game for long spells but without any quality or end product. We were up against a terrible side. 'Excellent' it was not.
