FFS 20 minutes after making 2 signings the first of the moaners is on. Disappointing but not surprising given it's Leeds Tyke
fecking hell! Not even going to give them a chance?!
Experience costs a lot these days. 3 players with championship experience will cost £3m plus, I'm happy we signed a player with championship experience in the one position we clearly lacked punch last season.
The Argentinian has played for top clubs in South America and has internation experience for Argentina in every level up to U21 - that's not bad considering they're one of the best footballing nations on the planet! So I'm happy to trust Davey's judgement
Some people are never happy

RE: fecking hell! Neil Austin had international experience at every level up to U-21. Just saying like.
Thats what i'm thinking.... We've been down that road of untried South Americans and a fair few foreigners haven't quite made the grade. Why all the foreigners??? we have funds and only needed a few players. l thought we needed around 4 new players, 1 already in the bag so 3 more and the squad would be complete. I reckon it wouldn't have cost that much to get 3 good championship players with experience. Not everyone in the Championship costs over a million. Maybe a further £1 million to £1.5 million for 3 more English Championship players and that was that. We'll see what they're like when its windy and cold, Leon ain't interested in those conditions - Pigs at home for example.
RE: Thats what i'm thinking.... Maybe we cant attract or afford the english players, im not too bothered about us taking risks on foreign players - this lad could turn out to be brilliant like Muller or a complete let down but we have to give him a chance and a lot bigger one than people gave Mostto. Brittish based players we have attracted = Mattis, Ricketts, Johnson and Odejayi 4 real bad buys who totally failed at Barnsley so its not guarenteed that just because they play here that they are going to work out.
Not getting at that...mainly he's wasted a lot of Crynes money...Mostto, Christensen etc on unproven players in this country. I'm really surprised that he's been given cash to sign someone from the Swiss league. I would have thought Cryne would have wanted English players with previous championship experience bought with his money to put alongside the foreign ones from last season that have fitted in well. Its just not about their football its the settling into a new country that most have struggled with. The good thing is the Argentine has good pedigree, U20's etc, Flamengo... but what will he settle like here? time will tell.
Championship players would cost £3 million each? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/norwich/7475232.stm There are some out there.
