signed up for the free trial on barnsley World.......

couldn't get commentary, after hours of trying (I note I contacted support etc, did everything but still no joy!).... thus decided to cancel...... just got me credit card statement and the robin buggers have charged me £39.99!!

thats £5 more that they quote on the website!! has this happened to anyone else!?


As for clubs statement re; commentaries, I feel they are a little short sighted Radio sheffield can offer a much better service to the public than the clubs preffered stations i.e. Oakwell 1575AM..... I can't even pick the bloody thing up in Royston! where as I can pick up sheffield in York and regularly listen on the way home from work.... When we can't get to away games e.g. Plymouth away midweek, does Gordon think we should all park up in the club car park as its the only place strong eneough to pick up a signal....

bah humbug!!!

You obviously signed up for the 99p trial

as it is a card transaction (rather than a DD) it is charged at the higher rate. I had the same thing happen to me.
