    No idea. Too many players who don't hurt the opposition. One left on when Mellis was taken off.

    He did sound genuinely let down by players he said he put a lot of faith in be interesting to see what happens I do genuinely hope he turns things around.

    But the problem is that the players didn't let him down, he let them down by forcing them to play a stupid set of tactics and formation that was doomed to fail.

    He's a good honest lad, hope they sort something in this meeting few more loan deals next week and drop the guys not pulling there weight

    He designed one last season that didn't lose too many matches. that was a start.

    Thought he had added a bit mote quality and depth in pre season to take us on a bit and cope with the demands of that style

    But he seems to have screwed up that blue print and completely lost the plot.

    If you want to play with wingers then play a fecking winger. what kind of design to win has defending midfielders on the wing

    i can only echo what's being said on almost every thread. the core squad is good enough for top half. getting them all fit, playing in a consistent line up, with the best players in their best positions, is what's needed. so unbelievably obvious to see. it's just totally baffling why he's tinkering like he is. i could understand it if he was new to role and had inherited a side. it's like he's just got completely obsessed with 'forgetting last season' and in the process has literally decided to forget about last season and start from scratch. totally bizarre. right now, if he finds himself out of a job, he'll only have one person to blame. crazy bonkers
