it is lethal i say lethal i wish i hadnt discovered it it is evil personified i swear belgian so and sos
Its abart as belgan as denis souza most of the stuff sold in this country is "brewed" in fecking south wales somewhere
Philosophical question Does the US brewed under licence Bud taste better or worse than the Original American version. Havent drunk enough of it to have an opinion and dont really care but have wondered occasionally. Most beers brewed here are much worse than the original but I cant see how that one can be
RE: Philosophical question It's worse.....from limited experience. Once had it over here (when someone got me one!), and then on one trip to the US when I went to an ice hockey match it was that or Heineken and I decided that I might as well have the "local" brew....it was better but still not good...and now there is so much choice available there.
RE: Original Budweiser from Czech Republic - quality ! nt Prefer Staropraman, Pilsner Urquell, or my favourite there which was Velkopopovichy. Although the Budvar Dark was quality.
American Bud v Czech The US version is appalling, they proudly proclaim on the bottle words to the effect 'brewed with the finest Rice'. No brewer of quality would use Rice(wine fact!! to quote James Mays)its only used because its traditionally cheaper than the the proper ingredient Malted Barley. The Czech original, like many Czech brews is superb, the 16 degree version of Staropramen on draught in Prague,is like wine, only better!! A general rule(though not absolutely 100%)is,if it is advertised on TV,it's Sh**e.
Budvar Dark - voted best lager of 2007 In a blind tasting competition held at my pub in London by Beers of the World. It's going well here, especially in the branded tankards you can get.
Correct you are, well pointed out. Beer should always be made with the 4 vital ingredients (3 before hops were introduced), one of which is definately not rice! American Bud, and Michelob for that matter, are truelly awful drinks. You could probably throw Miller and Coors in there too. However I never minded drinking Rolling Rock a few years ago.
