Bloody Hell, look outside at that tall, tanned, fit looking bloke with sunglasses and posh suit shaking hands with Don Rowing and Keith Hill.

"Isn't that Mido" he said to me.............

I replied "God knows pal" "BUT HIS FEZ RINGS A BELL":biggrin::biggrin:

    I'm here all week !!

MIDO...THERE'S ONLY ONE MIDO, THERE'S ONLY ONE MIDO, THERE'S ONLY ONE MIDO

On a serious note what an excellent signing by the board and Keith Hill. My faith is quickly being restored after the fantastic signings of Mellis and to some extent Ethu. If we can get a big centre half also, and keep Butterfield and get Sir Bobby playing regular again then we are looking a much stronger outfit.

A bit more wheeling and dealing and I cant wait for the season to start and see our new players, such a big turnaround from how the season finished, whats that I can smell at Oakwell ??? Optimism and belief !!!

We've gone from Dagnall and Nouble to Mido and Mellis - How is that fickle ???

So you prefered the lower league sh*t we were buying instead ????

Credit where credit is due for Mido and Mellis and slagging the club off for Dagnall and Nouble is also correct.

The table and some of unexcusable performances from last season does not lie

The only reason we stayed up - Pompey going bust

If 30 years of watching BFC home and away, plus slagging off some of last years embarrasing performances and terrible signings then your're spot on. I am fickle.

Perhaps the way forward is to be a bit more circumspect in future ? Try and see past your nose end ?

You don't have to like losing but making a career out of being outraged was a bit silly.

    just three words for you

    one year contract

And alas one year on we find ourselves right back where we started again.

Isn't it madness to keep making the same mistakes time and time again?

Its alright picking these types of player up and knocking em back into shape but at some point they are going to have to put their money where their mouth is and back themselves to be able to pull it off.
