I was of the opinion that we should give Davey a chance

To blend the team and instill some confidence and better tactics into the team. I was sadly mistaken the game today was disgraceful.
I can not see any hope of it getting better. The tactics of high ball and hope, and pray, that somebody might just get on the end of it never works.
I can only see a way out of this by appointing some sort of experienced assistant, consultant, Director of Football at this late stage, because the man is utterly out of his depth.

One plus from the abundance of minuses was the Hungarian substitute which I thought was the only player on the pitch to put himself about and win some balls.
