I wasn't expecting a win today, so wasn't surprised to see the results, HOWEVER

I was not at the game and due to another commitment did not listen to player or any reports, But looking at the stats and some threads on here from guys who were there it seems we did play quite well and were not outclassed. Perhaps a bit on naivety and inexperience at this level did not help us. When Hecky took us over he transformed us and no one on here could ever have in their wildest dreams have expected a grandstand finish to our season such as we had. Hecky is a very new manager and I also believe to be a very shrewd man and a quick learner. I am never happy when we lose and always hurt massively from it. But I am certain that Paul will do us proud yet again. I am not even gonna think about a top half finish this term, but I am certainly believing that Hecky will be the manager of Barnsley Football Club next season and in the Championship again.

Very rare that I listen to the radio for our away games but today I made an exception.I didn't listen to it all but the parts I heard we seemed more than the equal of our opposition. We seemed to create a fair few chances and that will put us in good stead for the games coming up.Seemed to be more positives than negatives.

We played well; the scoreline flattered Ipswich.

The support today was tremendous; made Ipswich sound feeble.

Credit to all those who kept up a wall of noise almost throughout to support our lads.
